Improvement of I<sub>c</sub> degradation of HTS Conductor (FAIR Conductor) and FAIR Coil Structure for Fusion Device

As a high-temperature superconducting (HTS) conductor with large current capacity applicable to nuclear fusion experimental device, REBCO (REBa 2 CuO xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">y ) tapes and high-purity aluminum sheets are alternately laminated, placed in groove of an alloy jacket having circular cross section, the lid is friction-stir welded. To make distribution mechanical characteristics uniform, twisted at end manufacturing process. In early prototype conductor, when I xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">c was measured liquid nitrogen under self-magnetic field conditions, degradations were observed from beginning, characteristic difference between two samples same conditions large.
